This page explains how Uplift Systems Inc. complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including how copyright owners may submit takedown notices and how customers may submit counter-notifications.
Copyright & DMCA Policy
Uplift Systems Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of songwriters, publishers, and other copyright owners, and we expect our customers to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), we will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Uplift Systems Inc. provides a software-as-a-service platform that allows churches and worship teams to create, organize, and display chord charts, musical arrangements, and lyrical presentations. Content made available through the Service is customer-generated, and Uplift Systems Inc. does not pre-screen or approve such content.
Permitted Use of Musical Content
Customers of the Service may only upload, create, or display chord charts, lyrics, and related musical content that they:
Own,
Have permission or a valid license to use, or
Are otherwise legally authorized to use (for example, works in the public domain or content covered by an applicable church or worship license).
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of copyrighted musical works—including lyrics, chord progressions, and timing or arrangement information—complies with applicable copyright laws and licensing requirements.

A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf; and
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
